We are a charitable program that cares for the needs of communities around us and freely shows the love of Christ. Our vision is to be the arms and feet of Jesus Christ in communities around us. We aim to call believers to reflect the heart of Christ for all to see.

Goals
The He Cares, We Care program under the Overcomers' Outreach Initiatives department provides groceries to the Ottawa community one Saturday a month. In addition to providing food, in order to truly show the love of Christ, the team also enforces hospitality and kindness in order to build sustainable relationships within the community. It is an impactful program whereby people and relationships are developed and the love and good news of Christ is spread throughout the community.

HeCaresWeCare Community Giving Tuesday!
The year 2023 has left so many Canadians to struggle between choosing healthy meals or paying rent! Even the middle class struggle with the high cost of food and more people now go to foodbanks to supplement their grocery needs.
HeCaresWeCare is supporting local communities across Ottawa to supplement with the right food and not just any food.
2023 Giving Tuesday, HeCaresWeCare is aiming to provide food for more locals especially during the holiday season. Our goal is to reach 150 households which is approximately 500 people for this holiday season. To achieve this, we are aiming to raise $15,000 and for every $50 donated, we get close to our goal as our matching donors also match these donations.
Our mission is to be our neighbor's keeper and ensure communities across Ottawa get to enjoy a loving holiday season through your donations.
